is this right?

i have been off of work for a little over a year now due to personal issues and i have collection agencies calling non-stop.i have not made any payments since i have last worked.i don’t have any valuable posessions or a vechile,i owe aproxx between 10-15k.is bankruptcy a good option?

It very likely is, however, based on the information you provided I am not in a good spot to give you a qualified decision. Typically whether or not a bankruptcy is the right decision is based on the amount and composition of your debts, your current income and future job prospects, the assets you currently own and the amount it costs you to live each month. I suggest you contact licensed trustee in your area to review you situation. Once he has looked at the above he will be in a much better position to answer this question.
