Canada revenue and bankruptcy

Revenue Canada has automatically diverted taxes due to me, to my trustee. Yet, when I look at legal text, it says that either I have to consent, or there needs to be a court order directing Revenue Canada to pay the trustee. Neither happened – what are my options?

I would first contact your trustee to enquire as to why the refunds were kept. Three is always the possibility that you did consent to this when you signed the original bankruptcy documents (as this is standard practices). If their explanation is insufficient you can always contact the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy and lodge a complaint against your trustee.
