If you file for bankruptcy in Canada, are you not allowed to obtain any credit even abroad?

You are not allowed to apply for credit over $500 without disclosing to the person (or company) lending you the money that you are an undischarged bankrupt. In that way, they may decide for themselves whether or not you are a good credit risk.
Canadian law doesn’t specify a country of origin for the debt so presumably you are required to make this disclosure to anyone anywhere in the world you attempt to borrow money.
