My citizenship application is currently in process and I am consdering of filing bankruptcy due to financial burden. Will bankruptcy affect my citizenship application?

While I am not a citizenship lawyer, nor have I ever filled out citizenship applications, unless there is a question that directly asks whether or not you have filed a bankruptcy I doubt they would even be aware you have filed a bankruptcy. Therefore I can only assume that it would not be a factor that is considered. Having said this, I suggest speaking with a lawyer who specializes it this area for a concrete answer.
