Credit cards

Great blog; thanks for all the good advice.
I understand that all credit cards must be given to the trustee when filing for bankruptcy. However, are you allowed to have a credit card if you are not the primary account holder i.e. supplementary card?

In our office we have not been concerned with supplementary cards. Ultimately, with a supplementary card the debt is technically held by the primary card holder, however, to reduce the chances of potential litigation I always suggest you get a letter from the primary cad holder that stipulates they are aware you have filed a bankruptcy and that it is acceptable to them for you to keep and use the card in questions.
