joint bank account

I might have to go bankrupt. One of my bank accounts is joint with relative (3 years now)there is also an overdraft- which will be paid off. Will bankruptcy force me to close bank account or perhaps just take away overdraft. Will my other bank accounts be closed as well, if I declare bankruptcy?

I can’t think of any reason why your bankruptcy would be disclosed to your father – unfortunately there’s really no way for us to know. All I can suggest is when your name is added to the account you have a private conversation with the clerk at TD that assists you and ask them not to disclose it…
