lent money to a friend

I lent money to an xboyfriend so that he could take a family trip with me.

He has since declared bankruptcy however he did not include me as a creditor.

Can I still pursue him for payment legally?

A licensed trustee said...

If you lent the money before he went bankrupt, your debt is probably included in his bankruptcy. You should contact his trustee to file a claim, and perhaps then you can recover some of your money from the trustee.
