What if I have no assets, ie. no house, no vehicles etc?

With no assets you really don’t have much to worry about as there is nothing that would be lost should you file a bankruptcy or consumer proposal. Now this realistically doesn’t change to much as due to the provincial exemptions available most people don’t loose anything, but regardless, this is not a concern for you.
Otherwiase you are best to talk things over with a local trustee and they will make sure you understand the process and what impact these options will have on your situation.
