Consumer Proposal & Bankruptcy
I`ve heard that my husband and I can`t do a consumer proposal,or file for bankruptcy do to the fact its are income and am on title on another home which has no mortgage so there is to equity in the home which is concidered an asset.What can we do now we have to many payments?

The fortunante thing is that you have a sizeable asset that you can use to avoid having to file a consumer proposal or a bankruptcy.
As for what your options are, you can either re-mortgage the property to pay down the debts, sell the property or apply for a consolidation loan.
