I don`t know what to do
My self and my hushand have approx. 75,000 in unsecured debt. I have done some calculating based on what I have read on the website and after monthly expenses (car, mortgage, daycare, etc)we end up with 200.00. Now I have not included the utilities or property taxes in that. Which means we end up minus. We both have a vechile that we depend on for work and transporting our child. We have already consolidated once and tried to sell our house. The twist in this is my husband has a business that has gone south right now. We still have a little extra income but I can only keep up for so long then I am going to crumble. I don`t know if it would be better to file a consumer propoal, file bankruptcy get credit counselling. HELP ME SOMEONE….

I can’t tell from the information provided which option is going to make the most sense for your family, but the fact that you’re at the point where you are looking for answers is a good sign that it is time to deal with the problem.
Use the links on this site to find a trustee in your area and give them a call. You really need to sit down with some one and go thorugh your situation in detail. Prepare a list of all of your debts and bring a copy of the monthly expenses you’ve recorded – it will make the meeting much more helpful.
