I have over 50k credit card and line of credit debt. Most items have become R9`s. But I also have positive items on my credit file as well. If I just let things remain as is(I know the derogs will go into collections and i will receive the harrassing phone calls) but will the R9`s eventually drop my credit file in time?

This is a difficult question to answer as it is highly dependent on the actions your creditors take. However, an R9 usually stays on your credit report for 6 years from the date the debt is dealt with, whether this is payment in full, bankruptcy etc.
