Living in seperate households after filing bankruptcy
November 4th, 2009 by Questions
My current spouse and I own some assets and have all unsecured debts together. we will be seperating soon, how will over bankruptcy costs work. There may be a suplus of income if we considered combined incomes, but definitely not when we are living apart. …so how will this reflect on our discharge time and costs

This is going to depend on a number of factors (i.e. when you are separating, when you are filing for bankruptcy, the amount of joint debt you guys have etc.).
As there are so many details that I am not aware of you will need to contact a local trustee and once they are more familiar with those details they will be able to answer that question for you.
