I live in Ontario Canada and I am drowning in student loan debt I owe on both my student loans and being low income I have been unable to pay them., they are alomost ten years old and what I want to know is once they are can I bankrupt them cause I am scared about all the debt can’t sleep over it and if I can do that what is the cost of bankruptcy in Ontario Canada? Yes, if you have been out of school for over ten years you can file for bankruptcy and your student loans will be discharged.

You should contact a licensed trustee to review the student loan and bankruptcy rules with you to decide if bankruptcy is the correct option for you.
