pension

I know someone who refuses to sign for his pension benefits because of family support debt and bankruptcy. He is working under the table as to hide his income. His discharge has already been opposed and he is going to court hopefully soon. What kind of penalty can he expect to get for all this fraudulent behaviour?

If the Court is made aware of his activities his discharge might be in jeopardy. The Court has the option to grant, refuse , or grant a discharge based on specific conditions being met. Of course, if the Court isn’t aware of his activities then they won’t come into play… If you are aware he has done something inappropriate then you should contact the trustee handling the file with the details.
