statute of limitations on credit card debt

July 15th, 2011 by Questions

My daughter lost her business and ended up on welfare for 2 years due to an unforseeable injury. She had almost paid off all her creditors except her personal credit card debt and Revenue Canada. Is this debt covered by the statute of limitations?

This really depends on the actions that have been taken by your daughters creditors, but potentially. However, for more information about the Statute of Limitations you are best to contact a lawyer who specializes in this area of law.
