A dirty rotten Ex-boyfriend
July 14th, 2009 by Questions
I was dating a guy last year, we had been together for about 6 months when he got a loan from citi financial, without my knowledge or consent he listed my furniture as collateral!! I was recently contacted by citi and they informed of this.
Can they take my stuff becuase of that jerk? I have worked hard for what I have, I don`t want to loose it.

If you can proof ownership of these furnishings they have no right to seize them as your ex-boyfriend had no right to pledge your your furnishings.
However, it may never even get to this level as Citifinancial doesn’t regularly seize furniture, they may threaten with this but it isn’t very common for them to actually make good on that threat.
