no income and $20,000 unsecured debt

Hello,
I am a married woman with two kids. Due to a family reason I had to quit my full time job and move back to my home country. My husband is on EI and currently getting $1800 a month. I am living of my parents house in India and they are taking care of my expenses as my husbands EI income is insufficient to help us out.
I have $10,000 of student loan and $10,000 of credit card bills due which Iam not able to meet now since both of us are unemployed. PLEASE ADVICE ON WHAT I SHOULD DO

At this point I wouldn’t worry about your debt until you returned from Canada. With no income there is nothing your creditors can do to you until you do have income. So at this point I would leave things until you have work and potentially return to the country.
