ignoring creditors
September 25th, 2008 by Questions
I owe a few creditors for the past few years. I haven`t made any payments. I`am looking to repair my debt, but unsure what to do. I owe to credit cards, banks, utilities totallying about $8000, and my spouse owes about $15000. just wondering what steps i should take to fix this burden.

The first step is you need to deal with the debts in question.
You can do this by paying the debts in full, filing a bankruptcy, filing a consumer proposal. Regardless what decision you make the debts must be addressed first and then you credit rating can be addressed next.
If you are unable to pay the debts in full you should sit down with a local trustee who will be able to help you develop a plan to resolve these issues.
