I owe a Credit Card Company 750.00 they are threatening to guarnishee my wages can they for that amount of money they also are calling my work and threatening me at my workplace. Could you please help me with an answer

Your credit card company could garnish your wages for less than $750.00, but remember there is a cost to initiating a garnishee, so the smaller the amount the less likely they are to pursue this course of action.

As for calling them at work. If you ask them directly to not call you at work, provide them a different number they can get a hold of you at and a time that they can reach you. As long as you are available at the time and number you identified then they should stop calling you at work. But if you don’t make yourself available they will again have the right to call your employer in an attempt to find you.
