Hi I have a question. If i am currently under the consumer proposal, am I allowed to start a small business?

Yes, during a consumer proposal you may start a small business as either a sole proprietorship (in your name) or an incorporated company. It is only while in bankruptcy that one cannot be the director of an incorporated company (although they may still operate as a sole proprietor)
