Assuming you don’t have any payment issues after you file your proposal and nothing strange happens to affect the value of your home, you should not have any problems renewing your mortgage during or after a consumer proposal. You won’t be able to switch mortgage companies, but the one you are with should renew you without question. If you want to make certain, call your mortgage company BEFORE you file and ask them…
