If you have a credit card with a zero balance will you lose it in a Consumer Proposal or can you keep it.

Unfortunately, you are required to surrender all of your credit cards, even cards with a zero balance, if you file either bankruptcy or a consumer proposal. You have the right to re-apply right after you file, but you must disclose that you have filed so the odds of being approved are pretty slim.
