when does the 45 days start in a proposal. from signing or upon filing? thanks.

The 45 day clock starts ticking as soon as your proposal is filed. With most trustees, that’s the same day as you sign – it would be quite unusual for you to sign the documentsd and the trustee wait to file them… If they did and you didn’t ask them to then you may want to speak to the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy and ask them to look into it for you. Frankly, it doesn’t make sense…
