BMO/CRA

2 questions. i owe 60k to BMO, do they generally accept CP’s? also, if i owe cra, i don’t recall actually seeing them on the creditors list, only as a secured creditor but there is an amount owing above and beyond the lien. should that amount not be included in the “proposed” payment plan OR is it dealt with as a separate payment plan?

Historically BMO has had a positive approach to a well thought out consumer proposals, as long as that consumer proposal is fair and reasonable to all parties involved.

As for CRA, anything owing above the amount that is associated with the lien should be unsecured and included in the consumer proposal, you are correct. It is only the secured part that is separate.
