Superintendents standards for a family greater than 7.

I have a family of 11. When determining the surplus income does the trustee have the ability to increase the amount that can be deducted? It does not seem an equitable standard otherwise. Thank you.

No, the trustee doesn’t have the ability to increase or adjust the amount set by the Superintendent in any way. I know it doesn’t seem equitable and potentially if there was substantial surplus this could be appealed to the court, but it is difficult to know in advance what the court would do or say.
