budget

We are in deep debt, but when we do our budget without debt we see there is enough to go by. But in reality everything goes to debts. Will we have problem when we file CP as creditors will see a big plus on our monthly budget?

When putting forward a consumer proposal it is best that you have some available cash with which to fund the proposal. So I think this will be a good thing. This will be discussed in more detail when you meet with a local trustee to determine what type of offer will be necessary, but overall having a positive cash flow is important to have and dramatically increases the likelihood of success when offering a consumer proposal.
