how soon after initial consulation, does it take to file consumer proposals

It depends on how quickly you can assemble the information required to prepare all of the necessary documents. If you bring everything with you to the intial consultation then you could file an hour later…
Of course, most people don’t bring all of the information with them so it may take a day or two. If you are in a hurry, when you call in for the consultation ask them what information is required so that you may bring it with you.
