Inheritance during 45 day acceptance period.

What happens if someone receives an inheritance in the mean-time between their filing of the proposal and the creditors 45 days to accept or reject it?

You are required to advise your trustee of any material change that occurs in the first 60 days of your proposal. Give your trustee a call, let them know how much you are expecting to recive and they can tell you whether or not it is “material”. This term is not defined anywhere, but is generally considered to be any amount that might impact the creditors decision.
