Lifting of consumer proposal on credit report
November 27th, 2009 by Questions
My question is regarding consumer proposal.
The proposal was paid in fulla year ago and my credit report still shows it.
I do have a credit card and car loan that are always paid and zero balance on the card.My score remains in the 590 range and unable to get it above 600.How do I go about removing the proposal on my report and bringing up my credit score.
Thanks.

A consumer proposal will remain on your credit report for upto 3 years from the date that you make your final payment. If it has only been a year since you completed your proposal then you should expect it to be listed for up to another 2 years.
