Of course they’d need a reason to think of doing this. There is a cost for each search and very few people other than trustees use the site.
The fact that you have a filed a proposal will appear on your credit bureau report too – so anyone checking your credit history during the proposal (and in the 3 years following the proposal) will see it listed in the legal section.
