Consumer Proposal Completion Date

August 16th, 2009 by Questions

I filed a Consumer Proposal in April/07, completed it in September/07 and have a clearance certificate dated February/08. Regarding my credit report, which date counts?

At some point after you made your final payment your Administrator will have issued you a Certficate of Full Performance. The date on this Certificate is the official date your proposal was completed and that’s what will be reported to/by the credit bureaus.
