Can a student loan that`s only 4 or 5 years old be worked into a consumer proposal?

As of July 7, 2008 student loans can only be cleared by the filing of a consumer proposal if you have not attended school for 7 years or more. As a result the student loan must be listed in a proposal, will be eligible for distributions under the proposal but will not be cleared along with your other debts.
