Business Names

March 18th, 2009 by Questions

I have a business registered under my name as a sole propreitorship and it has become necessary to file a proposal. The business still generates cash flow and has the potential to continue doing so. Currently it is my only source of income. Is it necessary to change the business name to continue operating. Is it advisable to do so? Or should the business continue to operate as is? Does it even matter?

You don’t need to to change the name – as a sole proprietorship it isn’t a separate legal entity (to you).
