Proposal and Dept Collection Agency

Can be possible to file a Proposal together with my wife,I`m late for proposal because one of my creditors transfer my debts to Collection Agency,I have very good income and I don`t wont to go bankrupt.Please help me with your answer before I go to meet the trust.Thank You

Yes you may file a proposal together with your spouse (or any other person) as long as “all or substantially all” of the debts are similar. This phrase is not defined in the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, but it is taken to mean 90% of the debts are the same. There is some wiggle room here – how much depends on the trustee that you are dealing with.
