Debt Mgmnt Counselling to Satisfy Terms of Proposal

February 14th, 2009 by Questions

Although the consumer proposal has been paid in full, I am still req`d to complete 2 debt management counselling sessions to satisfy the terms of the proposal. However, I cannot find out where to get these sessions. I originally worked with an insolvency counsellor at Perth Huron Family Services, and have left numerous messages for someone to contact me with no response. I`m frustrated that I can`t start to rebuild my credit rating due to the lack of response/service from this and other organizations like this. What should I do?

If yuo contact your trustee they should be able to put you in touch with a qualified bankruptcy counsellor so you can complete your counselling. The folks at Perth Huron are still around so I’m a bit confused why they aren’t returning your calls – try speaking to a manager instead of leaving messages for the counsellor directly.
