What options do I have after I have filed a consumer payment and been paying for over a year but have now become unemployed and cannot make payments?

Contact your trustee immediately so that you can discuss your options. If you wait and fall three payments behind the proposal will be annulled (cancelled) and then you might be limited to filing for bankruptcy.
