Proposal Acceptance

I have unsecured debts with Td Canada Trust, Citi Financial, and Capital One. In your experience, does TD tend to accept proposals of 25%? They are my main creditor.

Sure they do – TD is very good at considering each case on its own merits. The amount you’ll have to repay in your proposal will be based on your current net worth and income. If you can afford to repay 50% then you shouldn’t expect to only repay 25%. If 25% is a stretch then TD might accept less – it will all depend on the facts of your particular case.
