consumer proposal and car lease application
September 30th, 2008 by Questions
I am in a 3-year consumer proposal and I am in the end of the first year, no problem of paying to my trustee monthly according to the consumer proposal.
My question is: if you want to apply to lease a car in car dealership, will they accept my application or just refuse it?

Without a co-signer or a significant deposit I don’t think you are likely to be approved, but it costs you nothing to try… If you are worried about being rejected you might consider calling different dealerships and asking to speak to their leasing manager. If you describe your situation to the leasing manager they should be able to tell you whether or not they think they can help you get a car.
