Conditional Order of discharge
April 8th, 2014 by Questions
Conditional Order of discharge – hello, my husband and I claimed bankruptcy in 2005. We had been in business and it failed. My husband received his clearance and is trying to repair his credit. I owe the trustee $5,000 and have not received my clearance due to this debt. I have been garnisheed by CCRA for 7 years. I have paid over $70,000 to that debt – now they say I owe another $95,000. I can not continue this – is there anything that can be done for me.

It would seem that the debt to CRA is a pre-bankruptcy debt which would be discharged if you got discharged from bankruptcy. If you paid the outstanding Conditional Order of discharge the debt to CRA would be extinguished.
