Bankrupcy and RRSP

What happens if I am in Bankruptcy and receive RRSP’s from my spouse as part of a separation agreement – we were separated before I went into bankrupcy.

You are not going to like this answer – I can think of arguments that allow you to keep all of the funds and other arguments that would award the funds to ytour creditors. If you have already filed you need to discuss this with your trustee – if you don’t agree with their decision you have the right to ask the Court to decide what to do with these RRSPs.
