My next step/option after my Trustee Discharged

i filed for bankrutcy in 2008 and my trustee won’t give me a discharge and they are now filling their disccharge (Form 15), what is my next option?

If you have not been discharged then (at least in your trustees opinion) you have not completed all of your duties as required. You have the right to hire a lawyer and apply to the court for your own discharge, BUT the Court will require a report from your trustee that lists whatever it is that they think you haven’t done. Until you do the things on the list, the Court will not grant your discharge.

The consequences of all this are pretty severe – when your trustee is discharged all of your creditors’ right are reinstated. In other words, you are no longer protected by the Bankruptcy Act. You will likley start receiving collection calls shortly, likely followed by legal action to coolect on the debts… Sorry for the bad news.
