I was asked if I went bankruptcy I said No thinking they had no right to ask this question (15 years ago). Still paying the bill but running into trouble. Did I commit not knowingly?

Well, if you someone asks you if you have ever filed for bankruptcy and you have, but you say “no” then you may have set yourself up for some trouble. The lender’s first concern will be to check and see if there is ‘anything else you might not have told them about”. The more misinformation the lender finds the more trouble you will be in…
If you simply answered the bankruiptcy question incorrectly you should be ok. If there’s anymore to it, probably not.
