i have recently filed bankrupt (second time) and am still waiting to be discharged. my father just passed away and i am unsure if there will be any inheritance, if there is can it be seized and given to my creditors.

The short answer is yes. You should contact your trustee now to disucss your options. If there is an inheritance you may be able to switch your bankruptcy to a proposal, depending on how much money you are expecting to receive. Te trick is to investigate these options now – if you leave it too long your trustee may simply seize the funds and pay them to your creditors (which is legally what they are supposed to do…).
