How long do I have to wait for my credit record to be cleared of bankruptcy? Is it seven years from the discharge date or seven years from the date I declared?

At a maximum, the filing of a bankruptcy is listed as an R9 for 6 years from the date that you are discharged. However, if you make simple efforts efforts to repair your credit this can be a much shorter period of time.
