soon discharged

March 10th, 2010 by Questions

I will be dischrged from bankruptcy on the 23 rd of this month and I am totally lost about what I have to do after to re-build my credit,,,I was wondring if I still have to keep in touch with my trustee for any reason or if I have to report any income I receive after I am discharged? What about my next GST for April will I receive that or does it still go to my creditors?

The first part of this question relates to rebuilding credit after the filing of a bankruptcy. This is a fairly straightforward process and you can find information about this at the following links: see bankruptcy, and rebuilding credit.

In terms of keeping in touch with your trustee, if you are discharged you don’t need to although you will want to confirm what will happen with the next GST cheque as the exact timing of things may have an impact there.
