Can I make a living as a self-employed person after bankruptcy?

Is it possible to be a sole proprietor of a registered small business after bankruptcy? I am presently a self-employed artisan. Do I have to close my business and if so, how long will it be before I can begin again?

Typically the answer is yes you can run a sole proprietorship, but this is best to discuss with a local trustee so you can ensure things are operating in a manner that will be least effected by the filing of a bankruptcy.
