living in nanny and government threshold
December 10th, 2009 by Questions
We have a living-in nanny to help out with three young children. After the bankrupcy, would we be able to keep the nanny? Howwould that impact our monthly payment to the trustee?
Thank you.

Your live in nanny will not be directly affected or involved. You cannot claim her as a dependent, but as long as the salary you are paying her is tax deductible then you should be able to claim it as a deduction from your income before your trustee determines your monthly payment.
