joint ownership

I own a parcel of land jointly with my father their is no lean on the property and it has not been used as collaterial..i am building my home on it.will i loose it if i go bankrupt

In New Brunswick there is no exemption available for land, property or a principle residence. So if you file for bankruptcy you can expect that your share of the land will have to be sold and the proceeds distributed among your creditors.
