Credit Report

September 9th, 2009 by Questions

I have been discharged from my bankruptcy for just over a year now. While looking over my credit report I noticed that the date reported from some of the creditors was from August 09. I`m wondering since I was discharged already why are the creditors still reporting on my file?

Start by checking with your trustee to see if they have been discharged from your bankruptcy. If they have not then the debts still exist – you can’t be held responsible for them, but until your trustee completes the file the debts themselves have not been discharged.
