A licensed trustee said...

They are not notified (unless youy owe them money), but there’s a good chance they will become aware of it somehow. For example, your trustee is required to file two tax returns on your behalf and that often requires contacting the agency (CPP or ODSP) for a breakdown of your disability payments.
